Our Impact
Together, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to those experiencing homelessness.
Each night, almost 4,000 individuals in Dallas experience homelessness. They experience this for a variety of reasons, such as job loss, abuse, addiction, mental illness, and more.
At Union Gospel Mission Dallas, we meet the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless by identifying the root cause.
Our goal is to provide immediate care and to share the good news of Jesus.

What causes homelessness?
The causes of homelessness are as varied and complex as the people who experience it. They could include:
Unaddressed trauma
Adverse childhood experiences and family conflict
Addiction
Mental illness
Abuse
Unemployment
Lack of affordable housing
Health problems
Hundreds of individuals are facing homelessness in our community right now. They may be experiencing addiction, mental illness, abuse or other circumstances, and they turn to us for help.
We believe everyone deserves to experience freedom and healing through Jesus Christ.
