Fred Taylor, retired President of SBC National Data Operations (formerly SBC DataComm), managed the provisioning of data CPE and design and engineering of customer WANs and LANs into managed voice and data network services. Since 2011, Fred has served on the UGM Board, and is currently the Vice Chairperson. He is active in community youth programs and serves on various community boards. Fred received his B.S. degree in business from DePaul University and holds a Master’s degree from National-Louis University. Over the years, Fred has been presented with various awards, including the Career FOCUS Eagle Award by the National Eagle Leadership Institute, the Impact Award by the Dallas Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), the Recognition Award of Value & Excellence (RAVE) by the Dallas Chapter of the Professional Women of SBC (PWSBC), and a Lifetime Achievement Award by National Community NETwork. The awards recognize Fred for his positive influence on others in the work force/community. Fred and his wife, Onda, have two sons, and attend North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship.
