About Medical Care
UGM Dallas recognizes that after being on the street, many of our clients are in need of medical care. Our two main shelters, Center of Hope and Calvert Place, offer an on-site, free medical clinic available to both clients and disciples. The clinics are under the supervision of UTSW Department of Family and Community Medicine and are directed by UGM Medical Co-Director, Shelley Speed, APRN, MSN, ACNP-BC, FNP-BC. Residents receive both basic and preventative medical care as well as medical education. UGM Dallas will be adding dental services in the future.
